The Sunset Running Race arrives in Limone Piemonte on Saturday 22 March 2025.
An event combining sport, nature and fun in the splendid setting of the Maritime Alps.
Mountain running race on snow reserved for Italian and foreign athletes with a valid medical certificate for competitive sports. Approx. 10 km route, with 600 m of positive altitude difference.
It starts at 5.30 p.m. from the area set up in front of the ticket offices in Limone Quota 1400 - Frazione Panice Soprana.
The Sunset Running Race is one of the few trails in the international panorama to have athletes run in the snow at sunset.
The route will touch the ski slopes leading to the 2000-metre turnaround of Forte Centrale on Colle di Tenda, then descend to the Limonetto slopes and return to the start area via the Morel chairlift.
